Wednesday will bring another mostly sunny and hot day to Simpson County, with temperatures again reaching near 97 degrees.
The overnight low will fall to around 69 degrees.
With no widespread thunderstorms expected, the main concern will once again be the heat. Afternoon temperatures near the upper 90s can become especially uncomfortable when combined with Mississippi humidity.
For anyone working outdoors, staying hydrated and taking frequent breaks will remain important.
