Still Time to Shop Local at Magee Farmers Market Today

By The People’s Paper MS Staff

If your Saturday plans are still wide open, there’s plenty of time to make a stop at the second Summer Farmers Market in Magee.

Hosted by the Magee Chamber of Commerce, the market continues until noon today on Choctaw Street, bringing together local growers, makers and small businesses for a morning filled with fresh flavors and hometown charm.

Whether you’re looking for ingredients for tonight’s dinner, a unique gift or simply an excuse to get outside, the market offers something for every shopper.

Vendors are offering fresh vegetables and fruits, farm fresh eggs, homemade jams, local honey, baked goods, handcrafted artwork, floral arrangements, fresh squeezed lemonade and popcorn.

More than just a place to shop, the Farmers Market gives residents an opportunity to support local families and entrepreneurs while keeping dollars in the community. Every purchase helps strengthen small businesses that work year-round to provide fresh products and handmade goods.

The market has become a summertime tradition, giving neighbors a chance to catch up, discover new vendors and enjoy a relaxed morning in downtown Magee.

The Magee Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. until noon today on Choctaw Street. Organizers encourage everyone to stop by, browse the booths and take home a taste of summer before the market closes.

There’s still time to shop local. Grab a friend, bring the family and experience one of Magee’s favorite summer traditions.
