What is the most beneficial type of blow dryer for drying the hair?
I highly suggest an ionic blow dryer with ceramic heat.
An ionic blow dryer breaks down water molecules into smaller parts, which will cut down your dryer time considerably and reduce frizz.
Ceramic heat performs a unique function by drying the hair from the inside out, minimizing over-drying and eliminating scorching. Ceramic heat also helps lock in moisture.
Despite popular belief, you do not have to spend a lot of money on a blow dryer. An ionic blow dryer with ceramic heat can be purchased at most stores for under $30.
Another professional tip: never use a blow dryer on high heat. I highly suggest using your blow dryer on medium heat and high fan.
Use small sections while drying the hair. This method will assure minimal heat damage and prevent over-drying.
And always use a blow-dry heat protectant before blow-drying hair.
