The Fire of Revelation
By Dr. Tabatha Pittman
As Jesus walked with the two disciples on the road to Emmaus, He began to speak.
He explained the Scriptures. He revealed what had been hidden. He connected what they knew to what had just happened.
And later, they said something profound:
“Did not our hearts burn within us while He talked with us on the road?” (Luke 24:32)
This is the evidence of revelation.
It is not just information—it is ignition.
Something begins to stir within you when God speaks.
Clarity comes. Understanding awakens. And your spirit responds before your mind fully catches up.
This is what happens when truth meets your spirit.
The disciples didn’t recognize Jesus immediately—but something in them knew.
Their hearts were burning.
Because even before recognition, there was revelation.
There are moments in your life when God is speaking—and you feel it before you fully understand it.
A stirring.
A pull.
A sense that something is shifting internally.
That is not coincidence.
That is God igniting something within you.
Revelation awakens what was dormant.
It brings light where there was confusion.
It causes you to see differently—even before everything is fully clear.
And here is what is important: you must pay attention to what is burning within you.
Because what God ignites, He intends to reveal more deeply.
The disciples could have ignored that moment. They could have continued walking without leaning in.
But instead—they responded.
They invited Him to stay.
And that invitation led to full recognition.
Revelation requires response.
When your heart is stirred, don’t ignore it.
Lean in.
Because God is drawing you into deeper understanding.
And what begins as a stirring will become clarity.
Until tomorrow—stay anchored, stay hopeful, and hold on to Yeshua.
