The People’s Paper was created to amplify voices that are often overlooked and to spotlight the people, progress, and stories shaping our communities.
We believe local news should reflect the full community — its diversity, resilience, culture, and everyday wins. Our focus includes community leadership, education, faith, small businesses, arts, civic engagement, and stories that uplift and inform.
The People’s Paper is rooted in Mississippi and committed to ethical, community-centered journalism. We prioritize accuracy, fairness, and respect while highlighting positive narratives alongside important conversations.
This is more than a news outlet. It is a platform for the people.
