Members of The Main Street Magee Association are gearing up for a major community celebration ahead of Independence Day, inviting residents and visitors to downtown Magee for an evening of food, music and fun.
The Main Street Magee America 250 Fourth of July Parade and Street Fair is set for Thursday, June 25, from 6-9 p.m. The event is part of a broader effort to mark America’s 250th birthday while bringing families together in the heart of the city.
Festivities will kick off with a parade through downtown, followed by a barbecue cook-off expected to draw local grill masters competing for bragging rights. Live music from Vintage 601 will provide the soundtrack for the evening, adding to the festival atmosphere.
Attendees can also enjoy a variety of attractions designed for all ages. Food trucks will line the streets offering a range of options, while activities such as face painting, ax throwing and a cornhole tournament will keep crowds engaged. A dedicated Kids Zone will offer family-friendly entertainment for younger visitors.
Organizers encourage community members to come out, support local vendors and celebrate both the nation’s milestone anniversary and Magee’s growing downtown scene. The event is free and open to the public.
